On Saturday, August 15th Carolinian Canada along with Landowner Leaders Denise and Wayne Shephard are excited to host a viewing of their property at 2898 Burman Line, Wilkesport. The property, teeming with Carolinian species, is a total of 50 acres, including 12 acres of created wetlands, tallgrass prairie and reforestation. Please join us between 10 am and 2 pm to tour this great stewardship initiative.

Save the date! Our partner Lake Erie North Shore Standup is organizing a 2nd Standup Paddleboarding fundraiser on August 23 and 24, 2014. This is your chance to get a unique perspective of Carolinian Canada, spend a weekend at the beach and challenge yourself to a Standup Paddleboarding race.

Carolinian Canada and Royal Botanical Gardens partnered to bring you the 2013 Ecosystem Recovery Forum, with the theme of monitoring ecological change across the Carolinian life zone. The Forum explored rapid advances in remote sensing tools, citizen science initiatives, monitoring of rare species populations and habitats, and more.
