Landowner Leaders Workshops 2015Dates Coming Soon! These all-day workshop provide an opportunity for private landowners to learn about species at risk, their habitats, and how to monitor and inventory species at risk and other wildlife on their property. Instruction on developing individual Carolinian Habitat Action Plans will be outlined with useful tips on topics like wetland creation, managing woodlots for species at risk, controlling invasive plants, building a snake hibernaculum, and establishing a tallgrass prairie. Information on landowner incentive and grant programs will be available. A great opportunity to network with local experts, including conservation authority staff, native plant nurseries and naturalists!
