Carolinian Canada sponsored a participant for the Youth Summit for Biodiversity and Environmental Leadership, which brought together 95 youth from 57 communities across Ontario. Teens had the opportunity to participate in pollinator and wildflower workshops, discussions about how to ‘be the change’, canoeing and much more. In one participant’s words, “the Youth Summit was one of the best weekends of my LIFE! I got to get out and explore in nature, learn about the earth and water and how we are all interconnected.”

Friday, September 25, 2015 to Sunday, September 27, 2015

Carolinian Canada is excited to announce that we will once again sponsoring an attendee to the sixth annual Ontario Nature Youth Summit.  The summit is a fantasitc oportunity for young leaders from across Ontario to come together for a weekend of exploration, learning, and outdoor fun.  The summit is an important event for young people who are interested in learning more about the important issues of the day like food security, endangered species, medicinal plants and sustainability.  Participants will partake in a youth leadership forum, develop plans for conservation work, and meet young leaders from across Ontario. Spectacular hiking and canoeing will be had, as well as time around the campfire with their peers.
