On Saturday, September 15 we had an enthusiastic crew of 36 Friends aboard our first ever "Trip To The Tip" of Long Point. Bernie Solymar of Earthtrampers Consulting admirably led the tour aboard the C.S. Powell. The weather was ideal for a mid-September voyage, and participants had an active schedule of guided birding, butterfly, and nature hikes along with a gourmet picnic on the white sands of Long Point.
