I have recently returned from our 2012 Ecosystem Recovery Forum in Port Stanley. For me, it was a great chance to learn about some innovative approaches to protecting ecosystems and species. For instance, at Royal Botanical Gardens, invasive carp are being kept out of marsh areas by using a submerged recycled Christmas tree exclosure.
