The Great 2020 Paw Paw Parade

Shake off the isolation blues - its time to celebrate our wildlife gardens. This September, The Great 2020 Pawpaw Parade is coming to the Carolinian Zone to support Canada's Biggest Wildlife Garden. Last year, Carolinian Canada's first Pawpaw Parade proved Pawpaw passion in southern Ontario is alive and well - it attracted over 1,000 virtual participants and was featured on CBC, the Weather Network and more.

This year, the Pawpaw Parade is bigger than ever. Sign up today with Carolinian Canada to be one of the first to find out how to join the Pawpaw Parade, share your story or get your "paws" one of Ontario's natural treasures - a rare and delicious native fruit tree. The Zebra Swallowtail, disappeared from Canada, needs the Pawpaw tree to survive. Canadian gardeners can help it adapt to climate change by providing critical habitat at the northern edge of its range. Pssst... Diversifying with any native plant is climate-smart - local pollinators thrive and respond to shifting climate!

New for 2020, when you join the parade, you will automatically be entered in the Pawpaw give-away plus much much more! The Great 2020 Pawpaw Parade kicks off My Wild Green Home 10K Challenge with monthly prizes for climate-smart, wildlife enthusiasts featuring a range of easy-grow native plants and fascinating local wildlife. We (and all the pollinators) are excited to grow Canada's Biggest Wildlife Garden with you.
