Friends of the Richmond Street Forest

Founded in 1995, Friends of the Richmond Street Forest was born out of a successful effort to preserve the Frog Pond and the surrounding Carolinian woodland, known as the Richmond Street Forest, from development in Thorold, Ontario. This victory was solidified through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Thorold, the Developer, and our dedicated group of conservationists.
