Join us for the opportunity to connect and engage. The Feeding the Fire discussion will challenge youth panelists and the audience to think about the future of stewardship, how they imagine what our mother earth will look like in the near future, and what innovative solutions we can take to tackle tomorrow’s challenges. Youth panelists will be asked to discuss and explore the current work they are involved in and how that contributes to a bigger picture and vision. Since youth work hard to advocate for future generations, the panel will provide an opportunity to listen to them, learn from them, and address their needs. The panelists will share the support that youth movements need most from organizations and allies to sustain their movements and get more youth committed to and engaging with environmental issues. We need to invest in youth creativity and power - they have valuable experience, ideas and knowledge that we can all learn from, including peaceful and efficient methods of activism, and finding innovative ways to advocate when faced will challenges. There is a lot we can learn from youth movements, and a lot we can do to help them grow. Join us as we celebrate, learn from, and learn how we can support our panelists, their projects, and the movements they represent.
